For Those of you who have submitted your Business to the Directory

Sorry for the delay if you have submitted your site to the Directory. We have experienced an unusually high number of requests and are working as hard as we can to add yours.

As many of you are aware, each site that is submitted undergoes an extensive review process before it is approved.

That, coupled with the high number of requests, has caused a delay.

If you have submitted your site and it is approved, it should be displayed within the next week.

We are initiating a policy to contact those sites to let them know of their status.

Emails will be going out tomorrow .

Add URL Flash Intro Pages

If your site has a Flash Intro page, it is best that you submit a page other than the intro page. The reason is that the Flash page, as a rule, does not have an adequate basis (Key Words, Description). When you submit your page, the actual page info that our search engine script captures is what is displayed. If you see a title and description displayed, then, provided the keywords are present, it’s okay. However, after spidering and you don’t see a relevant Title and Description, please submit another page from your site. Usually the “About Us” page has lots of good info and will produce better search results.

Themed Sections

We are beginning to utilize our website development unit  assets to have each of our sections display themed pages. We have completed the “Attorney” section and will move on to other areas. We feel that themed sections add a more pleasant and meaningful experience for you, our visitors.

Status - Add Business URL to Boston Search

We have finally become current on reviewing and processing the submitted urls to the Boston Search. We will remain current.

We must note that a number of those submitted lacked either Title, Keywords, Description, or ALL THREE!!

The only way that your site will appear when a user keys in a search term is to have at least one of the three present.

If you don’t have all three, please to not expect your site to be displayed at the highest level.

We do have a free meta tag maker that one can utilize. Check the link on the URLs Added page.

There’’s a new face in Boston’s burgeoning Bullfinch Triangle - DJ’s at The Garden.Located at 222 Friend Street in the shadow of the TD Banknorth Garden*

DJ’s at The Garden is a welcoming neighborhood restaurant and pub inspired by the rich tradition of the “The Garden.”

To pay homage to all the “The Garden” has stood for – both the old Garden and the new Garden – DJ’s at The Garden’s walls are lined with memorabilia and photographs from notable Garden events like Boston boxer Dick “Honeyboy” Finnegan’s grand opening fight in 1928, the Roy Rogers Rodeo in 1945, and James Brown’s concert on April 4, 1968, – the day Martin Luther King was assassinated.

The centerpiece of the room is a 12’ x 12’ floor-to-ceiling hand-painted mural of “The Garden” circa 1930.

DJ’s offers a late-night menu and a full bar, featuring 20 beers on tap and 40 bottled beers. The restaurant and bar areas seat 250 people comfortably. DJ’s can host private parties from 30 to 250 + people.

With 24 plasma high definition TV’s, DJ’s is the perfect place to catch a game. Whether it’s watching your alma mater compete in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, cheering on the Bruins and Celtics in the playoffs, or catching a Red Sox game, you’ll never miss any of the action.

Beginning in April, DJ’s at the Garden will feature live music several nights a week.

DJ’s is open 7 days a week: Monday – Saturday: 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. and Sunday: Noon – 12 a.m. They feature a full menu from open until 10 p.m. and a bar menu Monday - Saturday from 10 p.m. until Midnight.
